Sydney Comedy Festival excited to announce latest acts

The Sydney Comedy Festival is excited to announce another round of brilliant comedians joining it’s massive 2024 line-up, with comicsfrom Australia and across the globe gearing up to spread laughter across the city from 22nd April to 19th May.

Adding to the blockbuster roster of home-grown talent is nationally adored columnist and television presenter Annabel Crabb, 2022 Edinburgh Fringe Best Show-winner and UK Taskmaster favourite Sam Campbell, Tiktok toilet connoisseur Sez, Chopsticks or Fork host Jennifer Wong and internet sensation Chloe Maddren.

International stars heading down under include Indian comic Kanan Gill who rose to fame with his popular YouTube series Pretentious Movie Reviews, Singaporean comedian Kumar who is known for his hilarious drag persona, witty and whimsical Angelo Tsarouchas (GRC & CAN), razor sharp Egyptian American comedian Ahmed Ahmed and 2022’s Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Newcomer Winner Lara Ricote (MEX).

Plus, regular panellist on The Hundred Mike Goldstein, Winner of Directors’ Choice Award at Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2023 Takashi Wakasugi, and The Amazing Race Celebrity Edition’s Dane Simpson.

The Festival has also announced the return of the beloved End of Fest Gala on 19th May at the Enmore Theatre, where the hottest acts will close out the festival with bang.

“The countdown is on Sydney. This year we’ve catered for every comedic taste and are ready to serve up a delightful feast of laughter,” said Sydney Comedy Festival Director Jorge Menidis.
