How would you describe your show to someone who knows very little about it?

You can’t say that is a show where I say all the wrong things in all the right ways. I talk about coming to Australia, my crazy familly and falling in love with an Aussie. The stories all make you belly laugh and offer new perspectives.

What makes it stand out and why should people see it?

This is the only show from the unique perspective of being an African Australian woman. All the perspectives in the show are ones you have never heard before. The punchlines all carry a punch through the routine.

What attracts you to comedy?

What attracts me to comedy is that it’s an incredibly honest art form. I think that the audience can always tell when you aren’t being yourself. So, I love that about comedy. I also love the sound of laughter. It would be a weird occupation to choose if I didn’t.

How would you describe your relationship with the audience and what do you love the most about live performance?

Would describe my relationship with the audience as two best friends gossiping. I see them as being integral to my act because the way they respond to my jokes influences what I do next, I love life performance because my act is constantly changing because every audience is different.

Who would you say have been your biggest inspirations?

I have up comedians who inspire like Nikki Glaser I think that her hard hitting punch lines always motivate me to get laughs that big. I love storytellers like Kevin Hart, and I aim to take audience members on journeys. That really bring them in the way he does.

What are three things that would surprise people to learn about you?

I love to serve; I am a big UFC fan, and I am a terrible dancer.

What do you love to most about performing at MICF?

I love that it’s an opportunity to perfect the show through repetition. I also love the energy at the Melbourne comedy festival because all the comedians are buzzing, and audiences are excited.

What comes after the MICF for you?

I will be touring the solar show around America and also going back to Uganda to start building my 2026 show.

This is a celebration of love, identity and the unique relationships that define us. Don’t miss this unforgettable show that promises to resonate with anyone who has ever felt out of place, offering a refreshing perspective on the complexities of life, love and belonging.
