36th Wangaratta Festival of Jazz & Blues Announces 2026 Program

The 36th Wangaratta Festival of Jazz & Blues returns this Melbourne Cup long weekend with another vibrant celebration of world-class jazz and blues, bringing acclaimed Australian artists, international influences and emerging talent to one of Australia’s most iconic regional music festivals.

Held from Saturday 31 October to Sunday 1 November 2026, this year’s Festival will once again transform Wangaratta into a musical playground, with performances staged across the Main Stage at the Cathedral Grounds, the Tiny Jazz Series at the Old Bap st Church, St Pat’s Hall and Holy Trinity Cathedral. Proudly supported by Visit Victoria, the Festival continues to bring visitors to the region while celebrating the diversity and depth of Australian jazz and blues. The 2026 program features headline performances from The Bamboos featuring Kylie Auldist and Cookin’ on 3 Burners featuring Stella Angelico, alongside acclaimed artists including Fiona Boyes & The Fortune Tellers, Horns of Leroy featuring THNDO, ISEULA New Orleans Special, Checkerboard Lounge, Frank Sultana Blues Band, Yunior Terry’s Afro Cuban Roots and many more.

Returning in 2026 is the Weekend Pass, providing exceptional value and giving audiences access to every performance across the Main Stage, St Pat’s Hall, Tiny Jazz Series and the much-loved Jazz Mass throughout Saturday and Sunday. Day Passes for both Saturday and Sunday are also available. The return of the Weekend Pass marks an exciting new chapter for the festival, offering audiences the opportunity to immerse themselves in a full weekend of world-class music across multiple venues.
