‘Tis the season for a cocktail or three and an evening full of laughs as Australia’s longest running adults-only Christmas show, A VERY NAUGHTY CHRISTMAS, returns to Brisbane this festive season.
Grab your favourite friends and settle in as Santa’s cheekiest crew deliver the funniest Christmas show around. From classic carols to modern pop with a peppermint twist, this comedy concert and cabaret mash-up is loud, proud, and gloriously un-holy, with tickets now on sale.
From 11 December 2025, A VERY NAUGHTY CHRISTMAS will feature a live band and eight not-so-innocent performers who promise to turn awkward office party energy into joyful, shameless mischief. Expect big laughs, bigger notes, and the kind of festive thirst only “Christmas spirits” can quench. But be warned: you will never listen to your favourite carols the same way again.
Created in 2017 by Australian theatre maestros Alex Woodward and Daniel Venz for fans of Magic Mike, La Clique and The Play That Goes Wrong, the show has so far welcomed over 60,000 audience members in Australia and the UK.
“A VERY NAUGHTY CHRISTMAS was born from wanting a Christmas-flavoured night out that was fun, filthy and absolutely not appropriate for mum to watch,” commented creator and producer Alex Woodward. “So we built the show we wished existed: something ridiculous, cheeky and best enjoyed with friends and a drink in hand.”
