Nathanael Cooper is a seasoned journalist with nearly two decades experience in arts and entertainment reporting. Having previously worked with Australia’s most prestigious publications, Nathanael has a reputation for his in-depth interviews and engaging storytelling, including as the host of The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age’s hugely popular daily news podcast Please Explain.

In the first episode of the relaunched series, Nathanael will sit down with Jason Arrow, who has captivated audiences as Alexander Hamilton in the critically acclaimed musical HAMILTON for the past three years. Jason will share his experiences in the role, the challenges of performing in a groundbreaking production, and what it takes to bring such an iconic character to life.

 

“I am so excited to get back behind the microphone and have a deep dive every week with the stars of our shows, the people behind the scenes and the people in our management teams who keep the engines running,” Cooper said. “I love podcasting for its intimacy, both with the person you are interviewing and with the audience. I hope it feels like a chat about your favourite subject with your best friends.”

The first episode of THE FRONT ROW will be released on Thursday, 17 October at 9am and then weekly.
