Calista, originally from Sydney, has a fascinating story. She travelled to Paris to study dance, met a magician and found her true calling.
She began her artistic career as a contemporary dancer and graduated with honors in Performance Studies from the University of Sydney. A founding member of the DirtyFeet dance collective, she honed her stagecraft through her interactions with avant-garde choreographers and a deep immersion in contemporary Aboriginal dance with Vicki Van Hout. These formative experiences inform her unique vision of magic: an art of movement, symbolism, and embodied storytelling.
Calista’s show is like nothing you’ve ever seen before, and it’s a delightful introduction to the world of theatre and story-telling for audiences of all ages.
