After taking the Edinburgh Festival Fringe by storm, Isabella Charlton will debut her critically acclaimed one-woman comedy show, SO MY DAD F****D THE NANNY at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Based on real life experience the show takes audiences on a roller coaster of hilarious emotions as Charlton recounts the steamy affair between her father and the family’s nanny.
SO MY DAD F****D THE NANNY travails from London to Hong Kong in a twist-turning and ironic show. Isabella weaves the story through the highs and lows of adolescence and adult love life, unveiling family secrets, power plays and salacious surprises.
As a comedian Charlton has performed Stand Up Comedy in Los Angeles, Hong Kong, the United Kingdom and Berlin. She has also performed in Hollywood at The Comedy Store, The Improv, and The Laugh Factory. In 2018 and 2019 she was chosen to be in the Hollywood Laugh Factory Fresh Faces. She has also performed at the Pasadena Ice House and Westside Comedy Theatre. Isabella has also travelled all over the US performing at comedy festivals. She performed at Trial by Laughter in Indianapolis, and at the She-Devil Festival in New York. The next year, she performed at Big Sky Comedy Festival in Montana and the Seattle.
