Kinky Boots Cast Announced

James Terry Collective is thrilled to announce its full cast for Kinky Boots, coming to Melbourne from December 1.

 

As previously announced, this new production will star Christian Charisiou,in the role of Charlie Price. Best known for playing Robbie Hart in the Australian tour of The Wedding Singer (DVE). Carl De Villa plays the sensational drag queen Lola, who rose to prominence with appearances on The Voice (2019), and Channel 7’s All Together Now (2018).

 

Joining them are Jessica Faulkner (Lauren), Kelsey Halge (Nicola), Connor Crawford (Don), Will Conyers (George), Sally Bourne (Trish), Keagan Vaskess (Pat), Dan Eastwood (Mr. Price), Callum O’Malley (Harry).

 

The fabulous drag queens of the Blue Angel Club will be played by Lochlan Erard (Referee), Carter Richard (Dance Captain), Jayden Prelc (Referee cover), and Cody Green.

The cast is completed by the incredible ensemble including Nicolas Van Litsenborgh (Richard/ Harry Cover), Bek Chapman (Marge / Trish & Pat Cover), Jackson Howe (Charlie Cover), Jess Ridler (Lauren Cover), Zoë Harlen (Nicola Cover), Joseph Lizacic (Don Cover),Drew Holmes (Mr. Price & George Cover), and Samuel Allsop (Angel Cover).

JTC is also thrilled to announce Jacob Rozario (& Juliet – Michael Cassel Group) as the productions alternate Lola, who will perform at select performances.

This new production is produced by James Terry Collective, following their Green Room Award winning production of Next to Normal (2022), starring Queenie van de Zandt.

Returning to Kinky Boots to direct is Martin Croft, who was the resident director in the original Australian tour, is joined by Nathan Firmin (Next to Normal) as the Musical Director, Luca Dinardo (Hamilton) and Jordan Charles Herbert (Boss Dance Company) as Co-Choreographers.
