Lucille dreams of having a boyfriend, but despite her beauty and charm, can’t seem to find one.
One fateful day, her simple fantasy turns cerebral breakdown and she’s catapulted down a rabbit hole of self discovery. Join Lucille as she laments over Charli XCX concerts, evil gay men, the societal implications of ChatGPT, Gone Girl (2014), post-capitalism, the death of taste and so, so much more, with no proverbial cultural stone remaining unturned.
Debuting to sold out crowds at the 2024 Sydney Fringe, expect a part stand-up, part theatre and part TED Talk non-stop rollercoaster ride through a unique breakdown of gay culture that will leave you googling “RuPaul fracking”.
Lucille is an award-winning writer and comedian from Gadigal Land (Sydney).
