Macy Gray returns to Arts Centre Melbourne’s Hamer Hall as part of her largest ever tour of Australia and New Zealand

Following her acclaimed sold-out 2024 tour, multi-award-winning singer Macy Gray returns to Arts Centre Melbourne’s Hamer Hall on 11 September 2026 for one night only, as part of her largest ever tour of Australia and New Zealand.

Kicking off in Melbourne in her favourite Australian venue Hamer Hall, The Encore Tour will return to every city Macy Gray sold out on her previous tour in 2024 as well as regional destinations across the country. Macy will also cross the Tasman for six unforgettable shows in New Zealand, before closing out the tour in the Margaret River wine region.

“Australia! The band and I have always had a ball “down under” and we can’t wait to see you all again! This time, I’m heading to places I’ve never been before and will get to see so much more of your beautiful country.

“We’re going to be performing all the songs you want to hear, plus a few from my new album – The Trouble with the Truth. Australia will be the first audiences to hear tracks from the new album live so get your dancing shoes ready and come along and party with us at a show near you!” said Macy Gray.

With more than 25 million records sold worldwide, a Grammy Award, two BRIT Awards, and 10 studio albums spanning more than two decades, Macy Gray is one of the greatest R&B and soul artists of her generation, and Australia and New Zealand loved her first.

I Try went straight to number in Australia and in New Zealand, while On How Life Is topped the Australian charts and spent 44 weeks on the New Zealand albums chart long before America fully caught on to her beautiful distinctive raspy vocals.

The Encore Tour will be a celebration of her chart-topping hits including I Try, Still, Do Something, Sexual Revolution, Sweet Baby, and so much more, plus her brand new single, the classic I’m Too Sexy from the upcoming album The Trouble with the Truth.
