Melbourne Fringe – Instructions Not Included

by | Sep 11, 2024

An existential comedy following Parker and Marley- two modern women trying to meet their potential. Parker is an artist overflowing with ideas, but her self-doubt sabotages every attempt to start.

Marley, a marketing guru, is Parker’s biggest cheerleader. She knows how to SELL and when it comes to priorities, Marley values public opinion over everything- safety, sanity and personal relationships.

In attempting to overcome their own worst enemies; themselves; they face overwhelming challenges of self-validation, the boundaries of digital identity, and the constant noise of online expectations.

“Instructions Not Included” asks how to get it right when we don’t even know what ‘right’ is. Will Parker and Marley be able to overcome their opposing priorities and shared traumas to reveal the identity holding their world together? All while building a functional workspace without an instruction manual?

Join them as they get their heads together and their hearts aligned, discovering that perhaps they are stronger and more functional together than they first thought.

October 1 – 6
