Merrick Watts, KABOOM!, David Quirk, The Greatest Magic Show and CIRCUS the Show are just some of the wild varieties of comedic talent on offer at Spiegel Haus Melbourne across the four weeks of Melbourne Comedy Festival 2026. Whether you’re a fancy grown up who likes an earthy shiraz with your guffaws or little kid who really adores bubbles and jaw-dropping magic, or a group of mates keen on a post-apocalyptic circus of the Cirque-du-Soleil-meets-Magic-Mike kind, Melbourne’s favourite new entertainment hangout is continuing to present world class performances in an unforgettable atmosphere.
Merrick Watts – An Idiot’s Guide to Wine: Volume 3 sees Merrick pouring laughs and six hand-picked wines in his return to Melbourne Comedy Festival with a brand-new edition of An Idiot’s Guide to Wine. Mez—equal parts genuine wine buff and lovable idiot—serves up fresh varietals, new regions and ridiculous stories in a tasting like no other, mixing wine facts, food pairings and plenty of jokes about the French. It’s the perfect festival afternoon with great mates, great wines and one of Australia’s sharpest comedians.
Thursday 26 – Saturday 28 March, Empire Tent and Spiegeltent
Elixir Revived is a wild post-apocalyptic circus comedy where four eccentric scientists test their own dubious Elixir of Life, unleashing chaos, mayhem and a whirlwind of gravity-defying acrobatics. Packed with irreverent humour, physical comedy and jaw-dropping stunts, this award-winning show (Winner: Best Circus, Sydney Fringe 2025) celebrates both the beauty and limits of the human body.
Friday 27 March – Sunday 19 April, Empire Tent
Dr Hubble’s Brilliant Bubbles is a fun, funny, and (slightly) educational spectacle from Australia’s favourite bubble man. Perfect for kids and adults alike, this show continues Dr Hubble’s 2025 tour legacy from The Bubble Spectacular, including sold-out performances at Hamer Hall.
Friday 3 – Sunday 19 April, Empire Tent

Every child receives a free magic wand and can meet the stars after the show. Perfect for kids aged 4–12—and just as fun for grown-ups.
Friday 3 – Sunday 19 April, Spiegeltent
Magnus Danger Magnus is back with Australia’s most explosive family science show KABOOM! Following sell-out seasons across Australia and the UK, Magnus returns with bigger, louder, and more dazzling experiments, chaotic mayhem, and electrifying S.T.E.M. fun that sparks curiosity and laughs alike. With fires, gadgets, and 20,000 times the voltage of a school science class, this high-octane spectacle is one part genius, two parts chaos, and 100% fun.
