Conor Lynch is set to present his highly anticipated debut solo show Chimp, at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival from April 7th – 20th this year.
Chimp is a playful and absurd physical comedy that follows the journey of a cheeky chimp leaving his cage and finding out what it means to be human. Blending wild humor, wordless clowning, and a strong touch of chaos, comedian Conor Lynch promises to leave audiences delighted with his joyous and tender exploration of the human experience through the eyes of an unlikely protagonist: a chimpanzee.
Exploring themes of social expectations, relationships, and acceptance, Chimp invites audiences to question why we so often shy away from our true nature.
Conor Lynch is a clown, comedian and improvisor known for his absurd physical humour and interactive performances on stage. He has trained in clown at Ecole Philippe Gaulier, and performed with The Improv Conspiracy since 2019. He earned rave reviews for his show Australiatopia at MICF 2024, quickly becoming a rising star in the comedy scene.
