PLOS Musical Productions has announced details of the cast and creative team for its January 2024 season of the musical based on the Leonardo DiCaprio movie – Catch Me If You Can – The Musical.
Catch Me If You Can – The Musical will open at the Frankston Arts Centre with a special New Year’s Eve performance for a limited season.
Jordi Poyser will feature as Frank Abignale Junior in this production bringing a strong theatre resume and experience to the role and is excited to undertake the lead role.
Returning to PLOS; after a few years away and cast in the role of Carl Hanratty is PLOS audience favourite Aidan Niarros.
Based on the 2003 hit film staring Leonardo Di Caprio and Tom Hanks, Catch Me If You Can captures the astonishing story of Frank Abignale Junior the world-class con artist who passes himself off as a multitude of identities – all before the age of 21. FBI agent Carl Hanratty makes it his mission to catch him.
Catch Me If You Can – The Musical follows PLOS’ well received productions of Chicago, The Boy from Oz and Strictly Ballroom that saw the company returning to the stage after two and a half years away from the theatre.
