Prima Facie Extra Performance Added!

by | Apr 15, 2026

The globall smash hit Prima Facie arrives at the Comedy Theatre next month!

Due to popular demand, an additional performance has been added today. With no extension possible, there will be just 16 performances in Melbourne.

The original Australian production returns in a true homecoming, starring Sheridan Harbridge and directed by Lee Lewis, with Suzie Miller’s razor-sharp writing at its heart. Seen by 1.2 million people worldwide, Prima Facie  is 90 minutes of emotionally gripping theatre that stays with you long after the final moment.

Australian playwright Suzie Miller’s razor-sharp writing has found extraordinary success around the world, and the original Australian production of Prima Facie returns in a true homecoming, starring Sheridan Harbridge and directed by Lee Lewis.

At its centre is Tessa, a confident criminal defence barrister who thrives in the courtroom until an unexpected event forces her onto the other side of the witness box and puts her faith in the law to the test.

As Tessa navigates the process she once championed, the courtroom shifts from a place of control to a place of exposure where truth is negotiated and lived experience struggles to fit the language of proof.

Tickets are selling fast, so don’t miss out!
