Someday We’ll Find It

by | Feb 24, 2026

A rapid-fire, 50-minute plunge into the internet’s subconscious, Someday We’ll Find It is a skillful commentary on what it means to exist in a digital age, showing at Meat Market, March 14-21

A compelling, funny, and at times completely absurd play, Someday We’ll Find It was written entirely from Google searches. ‘Mirroring the rabbit holes that are all too easy to disappear into when searching for something innocuous’ — Stage Whispers (2024)

Focusing on our experiences in an ever-growing digital landscape, this 60-minute work loosely takes the form of a never-ending web search, comprising AV and live performance. It is the result of a search for meaning, wading through grief and confusion in a rapidly changing world. Its makers describe it as “an attempt to grin in the face of fear.”

Someday We’ll Find It is supported by the City of Melbourne Annual Arts Grants and the Cybec Foundation.
