SYDNEY COMEDY FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES NEXT ROUND OF COMEDIANS FOR 2025

The Sydney Comedy Festival is thrilled to announce the latest line-up of comedic juggernauts taking part in its colossal 2025 Festival on from 21st April to 18th May 2025.

Adding to the blockbuster roster of international talent hitting Sydney’s stages next year is Kiwi icon and Flight of the Conchords funnyman Rhys Darby returning to Australia for the first time in eight years, 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown’s Sara Pascoe and quick-witted Scottish superstar Danny Bhoy. We’re also excited to welcome award-winning American comedian and actor Iliza Shlesinger to the Festival, along with returning favourite English comic and podcaster Ed Gamble.

2025 will also see the return of much-loved radio and television personality Joel Creasey, TikTok sensation and 2024 Taskmaster Australia contestant Jenny Tian and legend of the Australian comedy scene Bob Downe, and Sydney Comedy Festival’s 2024 Best Newcomer David Correos makes his return from New Zealand.

“We are so excited for 2025 to be our biggest Festival yet, expanding to new hubs and bringing the comedy and the joy to more of New South Wales,” said Sydney Comedy Festival Director Jorge Menidis.
