“I never craved eternity- I craved this.. saying goodbye to what we were and welcoming in our new bodies…”
‘The Aevum Valley’ is a sinister, twisted tale of a group of seven cultists who endeavour into the wilderness in the search for eternal life. An homage to classic 70s horror with live and filmed elements, ‘The Aevum Valley’ creates a terrifying and immersive atmosphere for those who dare to come and see what lurks beyond.
What does it mean to be a pawn in the name of something greater? Would you defy the powers that be to protect your moral compass?
The themes of this play explore power- cheating death, seeking something greater than yourself, no matter the cost, and no matter how much it changes you. The depiction of an active cult also depicts loss of identity at the hands of an authoritative power and dependency on ‘roles’ in a community, ringing true to the political status of the world. What does it mean to be a pawn in the name of something greater? would you defy the powers that be in the name of your morals? This is an age-old question that can’t be answered unless thrown in a dire situation, often leading to embracing your most primal impulses.
