Rockwiz’s Very Merry Christmas will bring a cool yule gathering to Hamer Hall for the very first time on 17 December 2026. Award-winning host Julia Zemiro and preeminent quizmaster Brian Nankervis return for an evening serving the classic mix of seasonal songs and curly questions, all wrapped up in the famed RocKwiz comedic smorgasbord.
For 10 years the team behind the iconic music trivia TV show have brought their annual live show, RocKwiz’s Really Really Good Friday to Melbourne’s premier concert hall for the Easter long weekend. RocKwiz are now turning their attention to the most wonderful time of the year with a festive edition created especially for Hamer Hall at Arts Centre Melbourne.
RocKwiz’s Very Merry Christmas will feature surprise musical special guests alongside beloved RocKwiz staples, official house band The RocKwiz OrKestra and “human-scoreboard” Dugald. True to RocKwiz tradition, special guests will remain under wraps until the night, and contestants will be selected from the audience in the foyer before the show.
Previous surprise musical guests have included Leo Sayer, Kate Ceberano, Kutcha Edwards, Billy Bragg, Emma Donovan and Kate Miller-Heidke.
Julia Zemiro said “We love performing in ‘The Hall’ and we adore our faithful Melbourne audiences. We’ve roasted and toasted Easter for ten years now so we thought it was time to give Chrissy a red hot crack! It will be fun.”
